The Autodesk Civil 3D 2015 product allows the user to perform hydraulic analysis using the Hydraflow module. The ability to do hydraulic analysis in Civil 3D has been added since 2014. The Hydraflow Module allows for Hydraulic Analysis, which are very important during planning to construct bridges or structures near waterway or areas with high water stress. This is done by calculating flow movemts, surface elevations, streamlines and volumes for given events regarding water flow through structures or given phasor diagrams of river cross sections. This also gives designers valuable details on how design decisions may affect the stability of water flows through structures under specific failures conditions. The Hydraflow module classifies the hydraulic analysis performed by the user into "Fast", "Medium", or "Complex". In order to get accurate results, the user must perform a detailed analysis of the hydraulic model. Users are required to set up calculations for fast, medium, and complex models using Hydraflow. This is done by setting values for slope, crest elevation, base width, bank slope, water level datum's relation to ground level or water surface elevation. The calculation time settings are used to provide different levels of detail for different hydraulic analyses. Hydraflow is used in conjunction with Corridor Modeler. Corridor Modeler is used to simulate flow paths for a given hydraulic analysis. The methods of the Corridor Modeler software allow for the user to start building a model specification (e.g., sectional orientation and flow path information such as direction, roughness, and curvature) from a simple rectangle with any sort of corner radii, slope values on the corners, and surface elevations on all surfaces. The simulation method then needs to be set into steady state or transient mode using a set of input parameters on a timer that is set by the user. This can be set to a time frame from a few seconds up to several months. Civil 3D 2015 also allows the user to carry out a stone cutting simulation in order to illustrate the effect of falling blocks during falling floors. This is done by calculating a falling block impact against a concrete slab or concrete decking. The falling block impact is calculated for different point loadings and reinforced concrete slab thicknesses. The calculation results allow the user to calculate where falling blocks will strike the slab/decking and how much damage they will cause from striking at different intervals or intervals after impact. cfa1e77820
